About TBTT uk 2007

Take Back the Tech uk is a national initiative based on the APC WNSP international Take Back the Tech campaign launched in 2006.

This year, the global campaign is taking it local and Take Back the Tech uk is highlighting UK organisations that are using Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to campaign or raise awareness, to end violence against women.

Each day of the 16 Days of Activism to end violence against women, we will profile a different organisation and their work, as well as an example of how they are using ICTS, with links to further information about how you can use the ICT.

Take Back the Tech uk is organised by a group of women's rights activists from various UK organisations who are committed to ending violence against women, and in this campaign, are supporting and encouraging women to reclaim and use ICTs in their work to stop violence against women.
